Recommendation

Go to the Emergency Room now

Based on your answers, your symptoms suggest a potentially serious condition that requires immediate evaluation in an emergency setting with full resuscitation capabilities — including cardiac monitoring, CT imaging, and specialist backup.

Please call 911 or have someone drive you to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not drive yourself. Palm Beach Critical Care is not equipped for life-threatening emergencies.

Recommendation

Palm Beach Critical Care is right for you

Your symptoms indicate an acute medical issue that warrants same-day physician evaluation — but does not require the ER. This is exactly what we're designed for.

At Palm Beach Critical Care, a board-certified Critical Care physician will assess you, order appropriate tests, and if needed, administer IV fluids or antibiotics on-site. You'll be seen promptly, without the chaos of an emergency room.

Recommendation

Monitor at home — but stay alert

Based on your answers, your symptoms appear mild enough to monitor at home with rest, hydration, and over-the-counter remedies. Many mild illnesses resolve on their own within a few days.

However, if your symptoms worsen, you develop a fever over 103°F, you're unable to keep fluids down, or you have any concern at all — please reach out to us. We'd rather you call and find out you're fine than wait too long.
